Darren was recommended to me by a friend of my sister, I had been left an opal ring by my aunt and unfortunately the ring was too small, and the setting needed to be replaced.
As I am not one for wearing rings, I wanted to do something with the Opal that meant I could wear it and ensure that the item gifted to me would not just sit in a box and be forgotten.
I went to Darren with an idea of setting the stone in a bangle and Darren couldn’t have been more helpful.
He ensured the design was as I had described with additional input from him, he sent images of the proposed design before he started work, even requesting that I drop off an existing bangle to ensure he had the exact size and shape.
He kept me fully informed at every stage of the process, the result was amazing and better than I had imagined – my aunt would have loved it.
